Down to Earth is a surplus food and training cafe. We run cooking courses to learn more about healthy and resourceful food preparation and cooking.
We’d like to encourage creativity while cooking by using everyday, easy-to-find and affordable ingredients, rather than a prescribed set of ingredients that are often hard to find or costly. It’s about seeing what is in the cupboard and feeling confident enough to create something tasty.
Classes are given in person unless we are restricted by lockdown, in which case online courses will be provided. Good Food Oxford provide the framework for the training.
